Operating procedure for NREGA Account Update Tool

Presently FTOs are paid to the account other than Nrega account type also. But when migrating the said accounts as it is (ie. other than Nrega accounts) many accounts are getting closed during  Year end process. 

So this tool helps the post offices to convert other than Nrega account type accounts (ie. accounts in which nrega payments were made) to Nrega accounts with the help of NREGAEMO database taken from Head office (ie.SOs Nregaemo database should not be used)

Operating Procedure :

First in Head office download the latest version of efms all in one tool from the SDC web portal which was uploaded today and just login and logout.

1. Open the nregaemo database ->environment table and check whether pocode1 column available with HO pocode.
2. Then take the backup of Nregaemo database backup from Head office.
3. In Suboffice kindly download the Nrega Update Tool from this downloadable folder and copy it in one new folder 
4. Copy the Nregaemo database taken from HO in the Suboffice system (ie. Don’t restore the database).
5. Run the NregaUpdate tool.
6. Enter the server name and password.
7. Then select the drive where you want to restore the HO nregaemo database and show the path where you copied the Nregaemo database taken from Head office (ie. HO nregaemo database will be restored by the tool in the name of “NREGAEMO_HO” ) .
8. A report will be generated showing how many accounts are not in Nrega account type. (ie. searching criteria is if account is ‘Single’ or ‘Joint B’ .This tool will not convert into Nrega accounts if any accounts other than this type). 
9. After getting confirmation the tool will update the account not in nrega account type to nrega  If still accounts are available other than Single or Joint B a report will be shown . This account should be converted to Nrega account manually by following the normal procedure (ie. procedure for conversion of Account type)
