Delete Quarantine Files Automatically
In default Symantec kept files of Quarantine / Backup and Repair Items. So that folder size will become larger. The above mentioned backup files can delete automatically by the following Symantec settings.
- Open Symantec Endpoint Production > click on View Quarantine.
- Click on Purge Option then
- Select Quarantine Items > Tick the check box of Total folder size exceed 50MB.
- Select Backup Items > Tick the check box of Total folder size exceed 50MB.
- Select Repair Items > Tick the check box of Total folder size exceed 50MB.
- Then Click on OK to apply the above settings.
Delete Quarantine Manually
Open Computer > Local Disk Drive C > Users > All Users > Symantec > Symantec Endpoint Production > Version Named Folder > Data > Quarantine > Delete Folder.
