Solution for sqldumpexceptionhandler process 51..

An access violation exception may occur, and you may receive the following error message:

Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)'
SqlDumpExceptionHandler: Process 51 generated fatal exception c0000005
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. SQL Server is terminating this process.

Solution

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
  • Download and  install Service pack 3a 
  • Download the latest version of Service Pack 4 and install it
